🐧How to check your Linux Version🐧

Okay, so now let's get started -

Step 1 : Check which Distro do you have installed.

Most people who are using Linux mostly know what Distro is. If not let me explain you. Distro is a distribution package of Linux. Most of the distros are based on Ubuntu and Debian. So if you want to check your OS version and other stuffs here is the command you must run -

neofetch

Then it will show you like this -

Since I am using Zorin 32-bit, It has Ubuntu version in it. So to see it, just install the package - neofetch

sudo apt install neofetch

So after installing neofetch, just run the previous command again -

neofetch

After running this you will see this -


So the conclusion is, just run neofetch and you will get a long detail about your OS freely 😄.
