OLA Cabs, an Indian multinational ridesharing company based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. On October 2019, the Ola Cabs were valued around $6.9 billion in US. It has been a popular cab service in India for a long time. It has been a valued and trustworthy company for a long time. Its key features were the well-protected rides and affordable travel. It was co-founded by Bhavish Aggarwal and Ankit Bhati.

And this business was raised from $0 to $6.9 billion in just 9 years of OLA. Thus, due to a huge capital, Bhavish Aggarwal has now started investing in small tech startups. And one of his best investment was the OLA Electric Scooter. They are making an affordable electric scooter for the public with high performance and good stability. They have collaborated with Netherlands-based Startup Etergo . This company named this scooter as AppScooter. OLA acquired this Netherlands-based company six months ago. Now it has planned to make $320 million EV Manufacturing Plant at Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. Its phase-I is nearly in completion this month and soon the E-scooters will be manufactured and will be ready for sale this month.

So now let's discuss about some specifications of OLA Electric Scooter —
- Driving range is 80 KM. Means you can drive from Dombivali to Alibaug unstoppable.
- Battery capacity is 1155 Wh.
- It contains mobile connectivity with Wi-fi & Bluetooth.
- 7-inch Color Touch Display which showed Speedometer & Tripmeter.
- This scooter will be available in 10 top-notch colors.
- Also we can charge it at home or at charging points across the cities.
Also for the charging stations, OLA is planning to spread charging points across more than 100+ cities in India. They named this plan as OLA Hypercharger. So last month, on 15 July, OLA has started the prebooking of their E-scooters. And it has reached as high as 1 Lakh Customers in one day.

So the CEO of OLA, Bhavish Aggarwal has stated from his Twitter that there is a discussion between his team on the launch date of OLA Electric Scooter soon. So I think it may released between 5th August to 15th August. So let's wait for #JoinTheRevolution.
